What applicance brands do you prefer?

What applicance brands do you prefer?

We are looking for a new gas stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator and over the stovemicrowave. This is my first time buying appliances so I don't know which brand to go with. I have heard bad things about GE from a few people but you never know who to believe. How about Kenmore?

for us we stuck w/ all GE, fh works for them, gets a nice discount, and can fix them for free . like every company, they have a few quirks in some of their appliances. FH's brother is also a technician, but for sears, so he works on pretty much all appliance brands. i have heard a bad comment about every brand out there! i can tell you GE has great customer relations and nice warrenties etc. sorry i am not much help because I am biased!

We got all Kenmore appliances for our kitchen.
They have been in for about a month now and so far so good.
We bought Kenmore on the recomendation of DH's Dad who has been buying them for a long time and LOVES the company.

Kenmore is always good, GE is also good and there is HotPoint which is made by GE.

LG is a great brand....I think it's from Europe and relatively new in the US.

We go to Best Buy and talk to their salespeople all the time for info.

All of our kitchen appliances are Frigidaire, our washer & dryer are Kenmore. No complaints ...

My best friend works in appliances (she would kill me for saying that--she writes ad campaigns for KitchenAid), and said Whirlpool and KitchenAid are the best.

We have all Kenmore and they've been fine so far. We had one wierd buzz in our stove and they came and fixed it, no questions asked.
Our stuff is 2 years old now.

i also bought ge profile and although i havent been using them for all that long that seem to be good so far. i do get a lot of compliments from customer on how happy they are with there ge

We bought all new GE appliances. I read up about them on consumers reports & they got good ratings.

My refridgerator is SubZero though and that is by far my favorite appliance! It works so well and keeps things so fresh! (it came with the house though so I am not sure how expensive they are)

All our stuff is Kenmore Elite. When we were shopping for appliances we bought a 1 month subscription to Consumer Reports online to get the reviews on all of the appliances. I was told that Kenmore does not make their own products. What they do is contract out to the other appliance companies and take their top of the line products and put their Kenmore stamp on it.

my parents have a GE Spacesaver Microwave, a Kitchen-Aid range (electric), a whirlpool dishwasher....and frigidaire washer/dryer.

You may want to pick up consumer reports or go online. We used them to buy our appliances. And they recommended different brands depending on what the appliance was. the most common was Maytag in all catagories.

We bought all Kitchen Aid appliances, so far I am very happy with them. The guy at PC Richards said they are very good as well.
