what are everyones plans tonight?

well tomorrow is my b-day so i told fh i'd rather go out saturday night and do a big dinner then rather than going home after work rushing to get ready and rushing to dinner and dealing with the v-day madness. So he made plans for saturday night for us and tomorrow going to do a little something too.

Anyways i asked FH last night what he wants to do for v-day, just relax home watching movies and fh said 'i'll cook for you' he has NEVER cooked, well twice he grilled something on the bbq which doesnt take much hahahaha...oh yeah and one time he made us grilled cheese sandwiches in the toaster oven, but other than that he doesnt know how. I loved the idea when he told me, and i can see his face after like OMG what did i get myself into...but he said hes going to try his best. I dont care how it comes out, i just LOOOOOVE that he will even do this. I got so happy and excited but i cant wait to see what he'll make and how it'll come out even if its burned ill eat it hahaha

so what are the rest of you ladies doing?

That is so funny - Only I wouldn't have to force him to watch this he loves that movie!

I am on the fence if we should go to our friendly local Restaurant up the street or just stay in and cook something like Lobsters! We always get so disappointed on V day eating out even in our fav places that are good all the time.

Overrated and Overbooked and Overpriced.

FH and I did Valentine's Day yesterday because we wanted to go to The Cheesecake Factory (which is always packed) it's where we had dinner on our first V day. We didn't exchange big presents because we are moving next month so we are buying things for our place, we bought an iMac yesterday!! It was a bit of a splurge but we love it! We also decided to go to AC this weekend for our friends birthday!?!


Happy Birthday and Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you enjoy dinner!!!

unfortunately, i'm home sick today. my sinuses are killing me & i'm naseous. all i had was a slice of toast & gingerale. hopefully i lost a pound or two Also, stalking the mailman for my RSVPS

we'll probably celebrate Saturday.

anyway, have a happy Birthday Denise

awwww so many people seem to be sick, hope you feel better soon.

oh yeah i forgot were also going to the poconos sunday morning...since were doing my birthday dinner sat in the city were not leaving then and also have an appointment to see a place saturday afternoon. We're still going bc fh wants to get something there this weekend and we'll stay at his house there, and probably leave monday night since monday we're off


that'll be nice - do you ski when you're there? we tried to go last year for new years and there was no snow... for some reason i really wanted to ice skate and we couldn't even do that.

no we dont ski...well FH used to and he used to even enter competitions and has won trophies. BUT he broke both his ankles playing ball not skiing but bc of that he has to be VERY careful.

We're going go the outlets there, fh wants to get something lol...so shopping purposes

i dont like shopping either. Its not bad bc i think were only going to specific stores there...theres one restaurant in the poconos that I LOVE, amazing food, good atmosphere and great prices. So maybe we'll go there after to eat something and then just have a nice quiet relaxing night at the house

I am cooking dinner - lamb, carrots and potatoes. Hopefully FH will help, I love cooking with him. I wanted to make cookies too, I forgot to do that last night .. maybe I can make them so that they bake while we eat

We are spending our first V-day together since we've met (always conflicted with school/work/travel) and we're going to Mulberry Street in East Islip.

I am also about to run out and buy some lingerie and goodies

we had a good dinner somewhere New Years Eve there... not sure the name but it started with a P... Powerhouse maybe? we were just lucky because they had a cancellation and it was NYE.

Well my bday is today so im the same way i dont go out on my actual day because its insane so sunday i used a spa gift certificate that he got me to the east wind and relaxed in the morning and then we went out to the melting pot for dinner later that nite...today i ended up taking my daughter to this dance class at the library and then we'll just hang out at home nothing crazy

It's right off 80, right? I have passed that a million times and I always wanted to go! Unfortunately, it's always on our way home, and we have a dog with us usually .... and she hates to be in the car alone, she barks up a storm, so we couldn't even do it in spring or something when the weather's nice....
