Tonight is our 1 year of being engaged.
Every year we go to Aureole in nyc. so we are going there again tonight to celebrate valentines day and on year of being engaged!!!
Time has flown i cant even believe its been one year already!!!

i think theres quite a few ppl who go out the day after or the weekend after v-day
not to mention alot of places jack up the prices on v-day...the first v-day fh took me out we had just met a few days before and only our 2nd date, so his mom recommended this place to him...well they did a prix fix menu and fh spent $300, he mustve been W** i just met this girl i dont want to spend $300![]()

LMAO. Most places do seating at 2 times, like 7 and 9 and you have to be out by a certain time and that just isn't my style. Pick from a certain menu, eat for only this amount of time, etc. I'm not saying ALL places are like that, but most places are. I'd rather have peace and quiet tonight and go out tomorrow (although I'm sure it's going to be just as busy)

they were all booked on the 16th and 15th..
Today my FH is going to cook me dinner and I'm going to set up a nice romantic bubble bath and give him a nice massage.. I bought rose shaped soap for the bath, rose petals for the bed and massage oils and cream.. I hope he likes it~

Last night after FH went to bed I decorated the whole house for Vday.
I had red and pink streamers and hung them everywhere and cut out hearts from construction paper and taped them up. it came otu really cute.
when FH left for work this morning (at 5am) he came in and woke me up to thank me for decorating![]()

It's funny that you say that, because that is exactly us. We've been together for 7 years so 'back in the day' we would go out on v-day, but then after a few horrible price fixed menus, we've been celebrating on the day or weekedn after (or before). It's just crowded and the menu is always so limited. So tonight we might go to a place we love in Astoria (Agnanti), if that, and then we have reservation for Remi tomorrow night.

How cute that FH is cooking. My FH has NEVER cooked anythign in his life.. he even calls me to ask me how to reheat things - can I put this and this in the microwave?? So I can't imagine him cooking an entire meal! Enjoy your night!

Yeah my fh is the exact same way, he doesnt know how to make ANYTHING hahaha...i asked him before what hes making and he was like 'i dont know but ill figure it out' i told him ill love it no matter what and he was like well if it tastes horrible i dont want you to eat it hahaha...but i told him how excited i am to watch him cook tonight and he started laughing at me and that this means more to me. He'll probably call somebody for a recipe, most of his friends do know how to cook or he'll ask his mom hahaha.

Im working till 9:30 tonight so probably not doing much of anything!![]()
oh yeah i forgot were also going to the poconos sunday morning...since were doing my birthday dinner sat in the city were not leaving then and also have an appointment to see a place saturday afternoon. We're still going bc fh wants to get something there this weekend and we'll stay at his house there, and probably leave monday night since monday we're off
Romantic dinner at Captain Bills!!!!!!!! FH made the reservations all on his own...I didn't even have to drop hints!!!!!
