Trying to stay away from anything that is going to break the bank.
I heard that peonies tend to be expensive. How about roses or orchids?

this is a good question - I have no clue about which flowers are the most expensive. Does anyone know about ranuculus?
Maybe you can mix orchids with something else to cut costs a little???

I would stick with roses..those are one of the least expensive but on the bright side you can get just about any color you want

I hear Burtons are really inexpensive for whatever flower. You should look there for whatever you want, then decide if it's what your looking for and if it's a bank breaker.

I absolutely LOVE chocolate orchids. It's funny beause I never knew what kind of flower I liked until I stared looking into centerpices. The garden rose is also GORGEOUS!!

I loooooove phal. orchids!!! My CPs are mostly phalaenopsis orchids but adding some white hydrangeas to cut the cost. I am saving $1,000 by adding in some hydrangeas!
Def talk to your florist and see what they can do for you. Ask about getting less expensive flowers (liek roses or hydrangeas) and only have a few stems or orchids coming out of the CPs

I love orchids to, but they are so expensive. So I am prob going to mix them with a cheaper flower like roses, to cut costs.

My boKs and my girls boKs are all calla lilies & if u go to Burton's, they aren't any more money than any other flower.

Orchids, peonies and anything that it out of season that the florist will have to bring in!! So if you try to stay to what is in season it will save you a ton.

everyone else pretty much has it covered
i'm getting orchids and calla lilies....
4 bm boks 1 moh bok my bok (all orchids with leaves)
5 gms bouts 2 dads bouts 1 groom bout (orchids)
10 tall vases with submerged orchids and candles for ceremony branches with scattered orchids for ceremony
16 calla lily/orchid cps (pic in album) with blue led lights in vases
$3350 ^^ not much more than other people's quotes that I've seen on here with cheaper flowers.... there are things to do and places to go to still get hte flowers you love at the price you can afford
