What are some inexpensive things to do with your FH?

Since we are at the last few months and we are saving big time right now... what are some things we can do as a couple that do not entail spending a lot of money?? Any suggestions?

where abouts do you live? I know Smith Point Park - beach has live music after 4 and parking is free after 5 and Monday and Thursday night are lobster night. Cedar beach also does something similar but parking is always free.

We go to Port Jeff and grab pizza, italian ices and window shop. We go every Friday night. It's the one night that we set as ours. We also go to car shows.

sounds like fun, my FH took me through there recently at night it's very happening. we love car shows too. do you live in suffolk also?

sounds cheesy but, hang out at borders? chill out with a magazine?

hit the beach in the late afternoon with a few sandwiches, then walk on the boardwalk...

Watch the sunset on the beach, or high spot. (Look at a map and find an unobstructive view to the west, they are all over) Take a camera and enjoy!

the town of oyster bay has free concerts. sometimes they are pretty good.

FH and I are addicted to puzzles (yes, were dorks)

since we are looking for a house, at least one night (fri or sat) we go driving around looking at neighborhoods- it keeps us motivated to save!

During the summer, the stage at Heckshire Park in Huntington has free performances(plays, concerts etc....)
We also love walking around Northport Village (where FH proposed), Port Jeff...
Walking around Borders/Barnes and Nobles can be fun too!
