What are some SUV's with 3rd ROW SEATS?

We are looking for a bigger car. More kids on the way in the near future and my Passat wont hold em. We dont want a minivan.

Most of the mid size SUV's and large SUV's have the third row seat....Some that I know are the following:
Suzuki XL7 Grand Vitara

Chevrolet Trailblazer

GMC Envoy

Acura MDX

Volvo Suv

Caddilac SRX

Heard bad things about Trailblazers

GMC Envoy doesnt have good crash tests

Heard bad things about Trailblazers

Nothing wrong with the trailblazer or envoy. Danielle's sister has one and she loves it. It is a great truck. She also has 3 children. I would recommend that truck to anyone.

I didnt know if you wanted bigger than a medium sized SUV...If you did then I would say get the Excursion, Expedition, Denali, or Tahoe....

How about the New Nissan Armada...That has a third row and it is big.

I have a Honda Pilot with a 3rd row (I think its standard)
I love it! Not too big, drives like a car, amazing in bad weather.
Scored very well in the crash tests too.

You should at least give it a test drive.

We have a Dodge Durango with a 3rd bench but I have to admit, its not very roomy.

Really Scott... 3 kids. Thats where I hope to be in the next 3 years. I want something big enough. She can handle 2 car seats and a booster in the Envoy/Trailblazer?

Be careful with some of the SUV's with 'third row seating'...some are like little booster seats for the third row....the 4Runner was like that. The Explorers 3rd row option wasn't too small, you have to get in them and look and esp. since you know what it is like to lug a car seat in and out. I know you don't want a minivan but with 3 kids eventually.....wow, that might be your best option with all the room in there. My SIL has a 9 year old and twin 3 years olds and I do not how she got along without that thing!

We just got the Ford Explorer XLT with the third row seat and the DVD entertainment system. The kids love it and I absolutely love it!!

I didn't want a mini-van and we didn't want one of the huge SUV's like the Expedition, Navigator, etc. They are gas guzzlers (sp?)!! They get something like 8 miles to the gallon!!!

I have one son and two step sons's. The 9 year old has taken over the third row seat and it's very roomy back there. He loves it!

Yup. She hs 3 sons. Two of them are 9 months old, and the other was is 2 years old. She has the two buckets in the back and one car seat. There is no room for anyone else though, except for the the third row seat.....But most of the time they dont have it up because they need the back for storage. If you are planning on having that amount of kids then I would get a bigger SUV, or a Mini Van.

Some of the Minivans are really nice, Like the Honda Odyssey, and the New Nissan Mini Van.

I think the new Mitsubishi Endeavor comes with it also....DH & I rented it when we were in Fla & it was soooo comfy & roomy & really fun to drive! ( & I HATE SUVS!!!!! & now I want this one)

I am in the market for an SUV also, and looking for a midsize w. four wheel drive. I really want the Honda Pilot, but it may be out of our price range-the one we saw was about $35k. I also like the Mitsubishi Endevor, but dont know much about the quality of Mitsubishis. I plan to lease, so as long as it holds up for 3 yrs its OK by me.

For those that have US made SUVs like the Explorer, how are they to drive? I have heard they had not so great interiors and drive like trucks...any feedback?

My mom had a 2004 Explorer XLT V8. She loves it. We drove it to FL and back in January with me, her and 19 month old Emma.

I drove the ENTIRE WAY. It had excellent pickup. It was pretty comfy. You could hear the road noise and feel almost every bump. It doesnt have the cool digital temp controls or anything but it was nice.

All in all the bumps and road noise are ignorable. They arent so bad I wouldnt buy one but I want something with more gadgets

In case any of you are interested, I have a friend that works for South Shore Honda as a Salesman. I can possibly get you a deal...If you are interested in a honda. Fm me with the exact model you want, and the option package you want. Also if you got any prices before, let me know what they are and where you got them from. And finally, if you know what color you are looking for I can ask my friend if they have it in or when it will be in.
