What are the smaller things that you're looking forward to post-wedding?

I got to thinking about this this morning. We all talk about big things, like the HM, having kids, buying a house, changing jobs, and (for some of us) moving in with our FH's.

But what are the little things that you're looking forward to?

It sounds funny, but I'm looking forward to having all of our cats in one place. I have one and he has two, and since we maintain two apartments we have to go from one part of Queens to another on the weekends to make sure the kitties are fed, litter is clean, and that they all get a little attention.

I can't WAIT to cut and dye my hair. My hair - the entire length of it - is it's natural color for the first time since I was about 13. It's long, it's thick, and I can't wait to chop it off.

I'm looking forward to us having the money to go little day trips. Like out to the vineyards, or overnight to AC.

As I've mentioned before, I can't wait to get back to going to concerts regularly. Live music is like a drug to me, and cutting down on it so much makes me kinda sad.

I want to cook for two regularly and have someone to have dinner with that isn't covered in fur and has fish breath.

How about you?

Re: What are the smaller things that you're looking forward to post-wedding?

Well since DH and I already own a home together....not much has changed. Cutting my hair was awesome!!! I love it.

We have planned a lot of long weekends coming up which is nice. And we are just about starting our kitchen renovation.

I look forward to having money in our account to just enjoy the everydays of life, like dinner in the city or whatever.

I look forward to being able to call him my 'husband'

I look forward to being responsible to someone other than myself.

Definitely excited to cut and dye my hair...I haven't dyed it in ages and I'm really feeling going back to red...and its just too long and shapeless right now. Driving me nutsss!!!

Once we have a house I can't wait to get a dog...its been my only steady ambition since I started college
