Re: What are you do make your wedding unique
I hate to say it, but my wedding wasn't too unique. I did manage to add some personal touches by walking down the aisle to the instrumental version of Bittersweet Symphony. DH and I LOVE that song. Everyone had big smiled on their faces when it started playing!
We also had an anniversary dance. Almost all of the people at my wedding had no idea what it was. They loved that too!
HTH!

We had the Incredible Hulk ice sculpture
Other than that, aside from a few personalized things, I wouldn't say it was too unique.

Everyone knows I'm obsessed with penguins, we had penguin ice sculptures and penguin cookie favors for the kids. Also, DH and I are coffee junkies and we did coffee beans for our favor.

-We had a cigar roller... -a martini bar with an ice luge (that quicly turned into a shot luge and people were taking shots right off the ice). -We had our guys wear adidas shell tops at the RH. -When my father and I danced we invited all fathers and daughters to join us after the first verse or so.

Re: What are you do make your wedding unique
We are trying to be somewhat unique considering 2 first cousins got married this summer and we want to make sure ours is different. But it's hard to come up with ways to really be unique. I guess our ceremony will be different since it will be more traditional.

Re: What are you do make your wedding unique
it was the music for us: we were a rock/heavy metal wedding
plus all the small touches that made it unique

Re: What are you do make your wedding unique
we did:
lots of peacock feathers different songs (i walked down to con te partiro and we didn't use the wedding march after the ceremony) a bar band instead of a wedding band flowers that stood out against the dresses (instead of matching)

Re: What are you do make your wedding unique
-Pictures after the ceremony are going to be at a park in town where we'll be on the baseball fields - FH played baseball his whole life and I played softball. It's one way of incorporating one of our passions into the wedding without being overboard cheesy with it.
-Cigars on the bar for the guys, chinese slipper basket for the girls
-Bubble machine for outside the church (just for some extra bubbles for pictures)
-Got my RB and FG's converse sneakers for the reception
I think that's about it.
ETA: Oh and there are a few country songs that are on our MUST play list: -Devil Went Down to Georgia - the original by Charlie Daniels Band -Toes and Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band -Red Neck Woman by Gretchen Wilson

Re: What are you do make your wedding unique
We did skull wax seals on our invites, Carved a bunch of white pumpkins for our table, My second dress is not the usual 2nd dress, and theres going to be a few Hallowen touches but not overboard. Other than that is mostly the same ole stuff that goes on at weddings.
