We're doing mini bottles of maple syrup in a glass bottle the shape of a leaf. It's a fall theme! :)

my best friend did that for her wedding last week. It was really sweet. Had a couple songs that just meant a lot to them, as well as the Daughter/Father and Mother/Son dances. At the end of the CD they also threw in a really nice song that her DH had written (and sang) for her. i like it when people do favors that kind of represent them as a couple, and music CERTAINLY represented these two.

I am donating to the American Cancer Society and then writing up a card that will say something like 'a donation was made in my guests honor' The cards will be left on each plate in the beginning of the night.
I am doing this to, but just to let you know they will print out the cards for you if you don't want to do it yourself! They printed them for me and I didn't have to make my donation until I received them and made sure everything was correct on them. Then my FH donated online. I think this is a great idea. Then I rolled up the paper and tied it with red ribbon into a scroll!!!
I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one doing the donation favor. I'm am donating to the Leukemia Society in honor of my dad and they sent me samples of the donation letter they provide.

The theme of the day for us is bling!! Haha!! I'm having crystals everywhere, but FH and I LOVE wine, so I wanted to incorporate that. So we chose this...I'm still hunting for the best deal so I havent' bought them yet, but I will as soon as I see a good sale!!
For the wedding I never had....we were doing personalized shot glasses filled with liquor chocolates & personalized mini bottles of absolute. I still have cases of mini bottles...lol!
Kids were getting personalized glasses filled with candy.

we did cute little scoopers, theres a pic in my album. everyone loved them. we also had personalized tic tacs on the tables.

We're doing square boxes filled with all different flavor hershey's hugs and kisses and the favor tag will read Hugs & Kisses and then our names and teh date. I REALLY want a photo booth but it's still not in the budget.

I am giving these out, they are placecard holders and double as candle holder favors.
We are making a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and everyone will get a little card that says we made the donation instead of giving out favors. I feel like most favors are always thrown away or eaten, and I rather put the money toward a good deed

Favors: DIY pedestal votive DIY placecard/candle votives holders DIY sachet Lenox heart will be filled with specialized M&M's (I just ordered) Black/Burgundy/Silver. The Silver will say 'My Love, My Dream' in english on one side & in italian on the other. I'll rap them in tulle...I still have to buy....All info in album
