What are you doing for rehearsal dinner invites?

What are you doing for rehearsal dinner invites?

Are you even using traditional invitations? Or are you going by word of mouth?

I'm trying to come up with an idea for invites...I love my epics so much I feel like asking my sister to come up with a collage but our faces are all over the place as it is!

And who does the inviting? Yourselves or the hosts of the party?

TIA!

My inlaws are throwing the rehearsal dinner so they are the ones sending out the invites. If you are hosting the rehearsal dinner then i guess you would sent out the invites. My inlaws got our invites made up.

FH is laughing at me- he's like who are we gonna send 'em to? Just email it! Figures!

I guess I wanted another excuse to DIY!

My FILs are hosting our RD but I am doing the invitations because FMIL annoys me with this stuff and as much of a control freak as she is, I am more. So I am going to make them. Nothing complicated. Just a simple invitation on cardstock I have leftover from something I did for work. I've seen a lot of girls do it by word of mouth on here. I would just do an e-mail invite, but FMIL would have a heart attack if I did that.

My MIL did the invitations for the RD. She got wine bottle labels printed out with the invitation on them and sent out a bottle to each guest.
Kind of over board, but it was a nice touch.

I just bought nice paper from AC Moore and typed them up and mailed them out. Nothing fancy- just simple and imexpensive.

I hired SAS Designs to do out table cards, place cards etc. I asked if she could come up with a draft for our rehearsal dinner invites and I am going to mail them.

I bought nice paper @ staples. We plan on using a nice poem to invite everyone.

I did word of mouth. I only invited the main participants to the rehearsal lunch and then went to the church for the rehearsal.

We just printed up a little memo on scroll looking stationary that had wedding written faintly in the background
