What are you doing thats 'fun' or 'different' for your wedding?

I really wanted to do something fun and a little different for our wedding. Like - I contemplated doing a cigar roller or a photobooth, but FH wasn't into either one.

Any suggestions?

We're having casino tables.

2 blackjack
1 craps
1 roulette

Set up in that lobby at Milleridge, during the cocktail hour.

It's fake money, and everyone will get the same amount..... after the cocktail hour (which we're extending to 1.5 hours) the top 3 money winners will win a prize. Nothing crazy, probably restaurant gift certificates... etc.

FH set it up -- I'd have to ask him, I have no idea which company he decided to go with! If you decide to look into it, FM me and I'll get the name!

Hmmm....we might have a 'special guest' come out on the dancefloor for a few minutes as a complete surprise.....and NOBODY will know about it (well except for my friend who comes on LIW, i forgot to delete my post and she ended up reading it)

BUT we are still toying with the idea.....I think it would be really funny to have a celebrity impersonator come out for like 2 songs and dance with everyone.....BUT its alot of $$ for such a short amount of time......so I don't know if we are going to be able to do it.....I also am afraid that it might be a little cheezy - but then again this is something we want to do at the end of the night when the dance floor is full - and everyone should be pretty intoxicated so i am hoping it gets a lot of laughs!! I can picture people in our families totally dancing with the impersonator (i totally will be dancing with them!!!), so I think it could be really funny.......who knows, as for right now its just an idea.....

We thought it would be really cute, and fit in with the Vegas theme.

We are doing an entire Irish/Alcohol theme!!!!

Getting married at the ICP, our table names are different types of Irish Whisky, each table will have a sample (bottle) of their table name. Part of our favors are shot glasses.

Not sure if that counts but I'm certainly looking forward to it!

Again I'm soooo jealous of the creativity, I wish some of it would rub off on me

we are having a bagpiper play our entire ceremony music including the wedding march.

does that count?
