What are you doing to keep your teeth pearly white?

As of now I've been using whitening tooth pastes. I plan on using the crest strips starting this summer. I've used the listerine whitening but I get this gross film in my mouth after. FH said he wants to get it professionally done. No clue where he's coming up with the money for that

i've been using white strips. so far i'm pretty happy with them. I considered getting them done but i don't want sensitivity or to spend the money.

my friend used go smile before her wedding; she was happy with that so i might try it.

whitestrips!!! i swear by them!! i used them for my brothers wedding...i'll probably use them late August like 3-2 weeks before my wedding

I used them a few years ago and wow! I was so happy with the results so I plan on using that again.

That's so funny my FH and I were just talking about this. My dentist charges $300 for the professional kit that molds to you mouth but I don't know if I want to spend that much... I'm think I'm going to try the whitestrips.

I'm doing the same exact thing now, I started using the whitening tooth paste this morning and then I want to try the crest white strips..but I want to check with my dentist first, I had braces when I was a teenager and my teeth have been really sensitive ever since..

Do the whitestrips last for awhile? I am unsure if I should start using them now, or wait til it's closer to the wedding day.

With a month to go, FH and I plan on starting the Aquafresh trays. I've heard they don't make your teeth as sensitive as Crest Whitestrips. We'll see!!

The Crest whitestrips are amazing and they last for such a long time. I did not have any issues with sensitivity. However I think that the two week combo works better than the one week box.

Even though its quicker it does not work as well.

the zoom procedure, you just go once and whitens it 8-10 shades lighter. I tried the strips but they were really hurting me

I'm actually going next week to the dentist get them whitened!!! He is making me a mold that i have to wear every night!!! I cant wait for pearly white teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've used white strips a few times and I also swear by them. People compliment me all the time about how white my teeth look. (as recently as yesterday actually) I first used them before my prom which was now almost 7 years ago, I used them again about two years after that, and then again about a month before our wedding. But I also rarely drink soda and I don't drink coffee at all, so I imagine that helps. HTH. <--white teeth

ugghhh i know what you mean about the listerine pre-rinse- it works amazing but so gross- even still since it works, i'm sticking with it until the wedding & will use the white strips starting the month before

As of now I am using the listerine whitening too. It says on the back to use it for at least 90 days to see results. I am at about 40 days and not sure if I can see a difference yet! Also about the white film...just brush really good after you do the rinse!

I am also going to try white strips again AND I will inquire with my dentist about the whitening procedure.

JUST AN FYI...my last dentist was going to partically put whitening thru my insurance...here is how. He said I was grinding and clenchy in my sleep and that I would need a mouthpiece. The moutpiece would be partially covered and is the same mouthpiece used for whitening . All I would have to do it buy the bleach which is like $20-30. SOOO I am going to see if my new dentist will do this too!
