What are you getting as a gift for your FH

I was thinking about a Movado watch (saw a nice one for relatively cheap). What are you girls doing for your man?

Thanks

I wasn't really going to give him a gift, I mean, he's getting me!! I know he'd feel really bad if I got him something and he didn't get me anything. I think our wedding bands will just be our gift, I might send him a card tho, just a lil something!!

He is getting the use of my womb to house his offspring for 9 months. Isn't that enough?

We weren't going to get each other gifts. But I think I am going to get him nice cuff links.

Nothing! thats what he is getting - I got him a nice watch last year he wore it 3 times -

He gets me for the rest of his life, to be a loving wife, best friend and the mother of our children.....

I should be quiet. I bought FH a Raymond Weil for our engagement/finishing his MBA. But then again, it pales in comparison to the ring he gave me. As for a wedding gift, we are both making contributions to the 'wedding fund' and decided against 'gifts. ' Though he has been reminded by MANY sources to order a dozen roses for me on our wedding day or there won't be a wedding NIGHT!

We decided not to get each other gifts. We are saving any and all extra (non-wedding money---is there such a thing?!?!) to put towards a house!

hey stephanie, i bought my fh a really nice movado watch for his bday and he luvs it so much.... and i found it for about 300-400 dollars cheaper than retail stores... what i did was shop around in the diamond district on 47th street in manhattan... i found the watch for $410 dollars at one of the booths... then i went to my local jewelry store and asked him to match the price and he did! We saw the watch in zales a year later for 750!

anyway the style was movado meza with a silver dial. if you have more money... around $800 you can splurge for the movado vizio... it looks so good on.

for my fh i always imagined getting him a rolex when we got married.... but now that it is eight years later and i am still a poor broke student i dont think that will be happening. i still have hopes for the first year anniversary.

so my top choices now are a flat screen tv for our house (which i will luv too) or baseball season tickets.

Since we are paying for this 100%, we splurged on the honeymoon. That is our gift to each other.

Mine is more a sentimental gift. I got him engraved locket cufflinks. Putting a picture of his late father in there so that he can be with him on the wedding day.
