Many of us have spent a lot of money for our gowns and the way things are these days it seems rare for dresses to be passed down. I am thinking about using the train of my gown as a christening blanket for my children. I am going to have each child's name embroidered with date. What are you ladies intending to do with your gowns after the wedding?

Re: what are you going to do with your gown?
If i can part with it i'd love to donate it so someone else can enjoy it as well...i'm not having kids so there's no handing it down or making baby stuff

I'm thinking about donating it to Brides against Breast Cancer so they can sell it to raise research $$

FH said I should sell mine too IDK what I'll do though. I guess it doesn't make much since to keep it boxed up and I doub't my daughter will wear it on her wedding day.

I am thinking about preserving it but I haven't really thought too much about it.
