at my church.. i cant use rice, rose petals, and i dont want bird seed.. i was also thinking that i dont want bubbles.. b/c they really dont show up that well in pics.. what are you girls using???

We didnt throw anything-we werent allowed to throw rice, bird seed or petals so we just opted not to do anything

I've heard of the fake rice that melts, as long as it doesnt stain my dress, thats whats going to be thrown!

My church doesn't allow anything either. I was thinking of doing sparklers for our exit after the reception, but it might also be possible to do at a church...although w/ fire I don't know. I have also seen ribbon wands.

we threw 'wedding rice'. It's fake rice shaped like hearts. I got it at Michaels. Looks real!

we were allowed petals but they had to be live so they could be mowed up by the landscapers...that being said be careful with 'fake' rice or anything fake for that matter....anything that leaves a mess is usually an issue..
i think bubbles look adorable & really show up in photos! my only gripe is that they can stain ur dress???
what about using ribbon wands??? those were a cute hit this past summer...

We werent allowed to throw anything at my Church. We got bubbles and the guests that came to the church blew those when we came out. It looks really nice in the pictures!!!

Old time bride here who is bored at work today
We used lavender buds- all natural, no mess(they are so small) but they worked great.

Bubbles actually come out great in pics! Have your photographer show you some pics with bubbles. You'll change your mind!
