I was not nervous about anything. I cried my eyes out the entire ceremony..don't know why..it is truly an emotional thing

Like Mishy it makes you wonder tho' about the longevity of your marriage and keeping it new and sponataneous and exciting. With marriages falling apart around us every day it makes you wonder what will be the glue that will keep us together? All the wedding is, is just icing on the cake...living the life is the real deal

Dr Phil said if 1/2 of us put the effort in to our marriages as we did in to making the wedding day successful a lot more marriages would last. That really hit a nerve with me, b/c sometimes I think as brides we do forget what the real important thing is.

I wish us all the best and that we all have long lasting marriages.

I think as brides, we forget what we're actually doing this all for.

If we all stepped back, took a deep breathe and remembered why were were marrying our FH's (or DH's!) we would realize how unimportant things like flowers or the color of the icing on our cake is!

I truly plan on enjoying every minute of my day. It will go quick...but I'm more excited about waking up every morning next to my hubby and knowing that he's mine forever.

Shamma - thank you for reminding us what this day is really all about - it's very easy to get side-tracked with all the details that at the end of the day aren't that important.

Shamma - Well said!!!!!! I am only nervous about some of my crazy family members who will rsvp and not show up or who will act a fool.

I'm most worried about getting a migraine! Those make me go blind and throw up. I don't know what i'll do if that happens. I've been trying new medications for months now but nothing that totally wipes it out.

On another note, did anyone else see Montel Williams show the other day - 'Wedding day disasters' - that put a bunch of new worries in my head!

I am worried my FI won't like what I look like...what if he hates my dress.
I am worried I will Cry too much!!
I am worried about the music / dancing. What if no body dances!!
I am nervous & worried but also very excited.
One month from today, and I can't wait, I hop eit all comes together.

Kim, you are so right. I get migraines pretty bad - I stay on preventitive medication -- hope I don't get one, if I do, it's all over.

lizen - what preventative medication are you on? Is it prescription? I'm always looking to try something and now I'm down to the wire! I've been taking migra-lieve for about two months and I thought it was working until friday when I got a migraine :(

Standing up in front of the church with my back to everyone. I am a freak about not having my back to anyone. FH always teases me becuase I like to sit with my back to a corner or a wall when we go out so that I can see what is going on all around me.

Also, I am afraid that I will fall over while I am up there. Not passing out, but just falling over. I practice standing up when I am in church everyweek, and I swear, I think I am swaying. Do I get to hold his hand or arm while I am standing up there?

Sorry to sound so together, but I'm not nervous about anything. Ok, that's not so true. I'm nervous about the honeymoon and that I won't have enough clothes for Jamaica weather! LOL

Truthfully, I started planning this wedding right after we got engaged, last July, and it was the best thing I could've done. I got every single vendor booked by September and immediately started paying them off as I could. I had done so much that I acutally got to take a break from planning for a few months around and after the holidays.

I think that the fact that my fiance and I are paying and planning for everything by ourselves, therefore giving us absolute control over the wedding, has made me less stressful. I don't have much input from anybody because they know that I want to be in control of it so I don't have to debate with anyone. My fiance from the beginning has made it a point to not get stressed or nervous about anything, which has been a great help to me.

Then again, I only have 24 days left so I probably haven't even begun to panic yet! I'll get back to you all in a couple weeks! LOL

i am worried about the crying thing big time. I am a huge crier- one of those people who can cry over a commercial and ridiculous things- and every time I picture the day, I start crying. I am afraid I will have cried like 20 times before I even get to the church- like the first time my dad sees me in the dress, etc! I am afraid my makeup will look awful and I will have red swollen eyes in all pictures!! My MOH was laughing about it yesterday, saying that knowing me, she is planning on following me everywhere with tissues and makeup! I'm sure I'll wear waterproof mascara, but what if i pay to have my makeup done and cry it all of before i even hit the aisle????

I'm another big crier over here.. But I am more worried about anxiety setting in and passing out!! This happened to one of my gf's and her ceremony was an hour later and her hubby was waiting at the alter as well..
