The FH and I have been living on our own and together for quite some time...and along the way, we've bought pretty much everything we needed/wanted. We're having trouble finding stuff to put on our registry...we kind of feel like we have everything we need already...

my FH and I have the same problem. We've been living together for 4 years now. the only thing I can think of putting on the registry is a new plate set and pots. Maybe you can do a honeymoon registry instead.

we registered for a buttload of small appliances, we have stuff but we got all matching kitchenaid stuff, and we also put on some good pots calphalon. bakeware, luggage, everyday china and glasses and silverware.
We are redoing our house so its pretty hard to pick out linens and a comforter set. so we will end up buying that on our own once the house is finished

Yea we kindof have the same problem and we just bought a new house in Sept so we got all new stuff and housewarming presents. We'll put our china and probably another set semi formal dinnerware on it. We are definitley registering for a dyson vac, some new luggage and maybe some new linens. Everything else I have but I guess it doesn't hurt to store stuff for when the old stuff becomes worn. HTH.

If I were you I would register for china, flatware, crystal, luggage, high end pots/pans, maybe martini glasses or a nice bar set with a bunch of different type of glasses. Maybe also some new or higher end appliances that already matches what you have.
We are registering for everything, we have nothing!

There seems to be so many options - I think I registered for way too much since I will probably have a small shower. Ull well, I can always buy it for myself with the completion discount.
Some people register for small home furnishings, flat screen tv's, surround sound speaker systems, etc. You can also register for some things for the wedding i.e. cake serving set, cake topper, toasting flutes, etc.
I found the websites really helpful - most of them have more than they have in their actual stores, like BBB and Fortunoffs.
Try to pick some things out or else people will buy things on their own.

We are in the same situation and thought we would have a problem too. We ended up doing a honeymoon registry and Fortunoffs. We registered for things like luggage and a new coffee maker (to replace the $12 one we had). Also, nice everyday dishes and serveware. You can also register for anything you want new of- like towels, bed ensambles, sheets-the basics. HTH

You just open a registry account with a travel agency (we used Liberty) and people put money on your account. They can also book excursions for you, or spa treatments. We didn't have our HM booked at the time so they just put $ towards it. weddingchanel.com has one too I think- with Starwood resorts (something like that)

At least tha tis do-able. Mine wanted a pool table. I was like- who the heck is gonna spend 3 grand on us and where the heck would we put it...lol
