what are you throwing? church doesn't allow rose petals...

Any creative ideas? I've seen dried herbs or petals that may work (have to see if the church will ok that), perhaps bubbles - do they stain the dress? Please share your thoughts... Thanks!

Our Church doesn't allow any thing to be thrown either, so I bought a small box of bells, and I will be having the guests ring bells instead of throwing something.

do bubbles

There is a non-staining kind. It`s a blessing in disguise that they don`t let you throw anything (mine didn`t either) because I didn`t want anything pelted at me that would get in my hair, veil, down my dress, maybe in my eye. And from what I have seen at other people`s weddings, there is always someone who doesn`t understand the idea of just 'gently tossing' the stuff. Bubbles look really pretty in pics too.

bubble ??

Has anyone use bubbles at a ceremony that was at the reception hall? I am having 2 cousins be in charge of bubbles and programs and thought maybe they could tell the guests to blow bubbles at the end of the ceremony. How is that handled? mention something in the program? and what if the ceremony is indoors? do the bubbles work?

Sparklers...

That's what I am doing. I am getting married next December, so I thought sparklers would look really pretty on a cold night (I think it would look nice any time of year though). I'm hoping they will look nice in pictures too...good luck!

Sparklers...

Well, being that we're not marrying until next December, we're going to wait until next summer around the 4th of July. We always go up to Pennsylvania, and they have different fireworks stores there. They always sell a ton of sparklers as well... Hope this helps!
