What are you using for the icing on the cake?

Just wondering...whipped cream, butter cream and what I recently found out fondant? Am I missing any other topping?

Yeah, I originally had my heart set on fondant, because I loved the way it looks, but after actually tasting that cake tonight with it, NO FREAKING WAY!!!

I will stick to buttercream, thank you!!

Whipped cream!

love the look of rolled fondant, but it tastes awful

Jen, you helped me..I figured I would throw the question out there. I'm leaning towards buttercream...Does anyone have pictures of buttercream cakes?

You shoukd go to the baker and taste some samples to see what you like. They probably have pictures for you to look at too!

I am using whipped cream. Buttercream is too sweet

i had fondant. don't do it. the taste is just nasty.

I had buttercream with fondant stripes (very minimal) it was yummy. Pics in review and my profile.
