Let me start off by saying I'm a Yankee fan, but I'm not breaking any rules here because I am not bashing
I'm just looking to hear what Mets fans think about Pedro's choice to be at the Mets home opener instead of getting his ring at Fenway yesterday? I think he made the right choice and he should be with the Mets for their home opener, even if he didn't pitch. The organization and fans are putting a lot into him and he should be at the home opener to get formally introduced to his fans.
But I do think some of his comments were a little extreme. Didn't he say that he didn't care about the ring and they can just mail it to him?

Re: What are your thoughts on the Pedro/Sox thing?
Actually... Pedro said they can keep the ring. LOL
Screw the Sox. Pedro is a met now... and he belonged at Shea for opening day.
Pedro will say what he wants cause... well he is Pedro. We signed him knowing he would mouth off here and there.
Yeah he is a problem... but he is OUR problem now.
