I can honestly say I do not have any! My advice is STAY with in your budget and research your vendors. We cut out a lot of extras b/c we had a big wedding. It is very easy to get wrapped up in wedding planning and spend a lot of $$$. I was very tempted to buy VERY EXPENSIVE invites but in the end I went the inexpensive route and received many compliments on my invite.

My biggest regret was buying my dress WAY TOO EARLY! I wish I would have shopped around and looked at different styles! I loved the dress I had but sometimes I wish I could have worn something different!

I really have no regrets - maybe the only thing I'm kinda sad about is that we didn't have a videographer, but in the grand scheme of things, I'm not heartbroken over it. Also, if you have anything extra added to your reception, like, a coffee/cordial bar, for example, make sure the DJ announces it... we had one and NOBODY knew it was there - such a waste, cause the DJ didn't announce it!

Not too many...I loved almost all my vendors. But I did learn one thing: do not be afraid to say what you like and don;t like. I was so afraid of being called a bridezilla that I didn't say anything when my sisters chose a dress I didn't hate, but didn't love either. I knew they were on tight budgets and knew they were going to pay for my shower so I didn't say anything, but I wasn't happy. Now I am trying to choose pics for my album and wish I had said something and had them buy another dress. Seems small, but when you look at your pics afterwards, it does make a difference. This goes for almost everything in the wedding process BTW....there are ways to say things or present things that are very un-bridezilla, and still get the point across.

My main regret is not hiring a better, more cinematographic videographer. I should have put more money into it.

Sometimes I wonder if I should do this too but money is really tight

Re: What are your wedding

One regret is not being able to spend more time with my guests. We had about 315 guests and it just wasn't possible to chat all night with each of them. I do wish I spent more time with those people who traveled from far. I see my 'local friends' all the time, but I wish I had chatted more with those who flew in from the west coast and Europe.

Other than that, I am very happy with the way the evening turned out!

I wish I had started my hair and makeup earlier because it took longer than expected and I missed about 45 minutes of photos. I also wish I had not forgotten to put on my veil for formal photos because I was rushing!

Re: What are your wedding

Not enjoying my engagement and listening to everyone around me! I mean I enjoyed my engagement but FSIL was getting married and she kinda made my life about her instead of our wedding with her 'you can't plan anything until after our wedding'. So instead of wanting to fight with her and make FH's life s*ck, I kept everything to myself about the wedding. By the time I really got into it my girlfriend got engaged and then the 'enjoyment' was over (don't get me wrong, I LOVE my friend and wanted to show her what I didn't get so our wedding got pushed aside). Also, FH and I have a lot of family in the business (DJ, florist, etc) so instead of shopping around we just hired them. So I didn't really get to do the whole shopping around and taking my time with things. I PROBABLY also would have gotten married sooner (20 month engagement). Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with everything and I don't know if I would want to change anything now but just those couple of things I wish happened so I could enjoy this time instead of cry for the first 5 months of my wedding (until FSIL's wedding was over - although now she tells me 'you have so much time').

I wish I got to eat on my wedding day. Not that we didn't have time for ch and dinner, just that I was nervous/anxious/exhausted I couldn't eat. I did hear teh food was great though!!!

I wish I had cared just a touch more about my CP's and used a different florist that actually cared about what they ended up putting on my tables.

I realized that sometimes it is better to pay a little bit more.
