What can I do if my guests can't 'throw' anything

at our church ceremony (NO rice, birdseed,
ROSE PETALS

Nothing)

Any other ideas besides bubbles?

my guests cant throw anything either...We made ribbon wands..the guests wave them...do a search , I think Heidla had them...if you search you will find directions and stuff on how to make them...

We're using bells, its really cute. Your guests can bring them to the reception and ring them when they want you to kiss.

Bells are a good idea! I hadn't thought of that!

Would you be allowed to throw Rose Petals as long as it's on the steps of the church? Maybe you can have some friends that aren't in the party volunteer to clean up once you leave. I'm sure the church's objections are purely because they don't want to be stuck with a mess for future masses that day.
