Wine and sparkling water on the table is usually a good start. It totally depends on the venue though. Some are MUCH more willing to throw you freebies than others.

It really depends. When I first went to my RH they threw in the chair covers free of charge because I was paying 140 pp. Then I decided to change my date and they went back on their 'free chair covers' because I was only going to be paying 100 pp and according to them, that was a good enough deal.

see if they offer any kind of centerpiece. Ours gave us beautiful glass hurricane lanterns with tapered candles with tea lights. they also decorated our place card and CH tables with poinsettias and candles. saved us a ton of money!

hmmm, linens, votives, placecards, direction cards for invites, a bridal attendant, let you and FH have all of the entrees not just one Centerpiece discounts Wave cake cutting fee ... If i thnk of more I'll let you know

night a at hotel, mini vienese, linens, chair covers, martini bar, ice sculpture, they were going to make a lounge for us...i have heard of people getting some cold fish at the cocktail hour

The way I got (one of) my freebies is...I happened to mention that my FH (italian) does not want any pasta dishes on the menu b/c the only pasta he will eat is his mom's. I guess the BM was insulted by this, so he said...just for that comment, I throw in the pasta/risotto as a side dish for free. I mean, we're only talking like 3 dollars pp, but it's always better to speak up. You just never know ;) Since we wanted a Vienesse hour, he threw in the chocolate fountain for free (again, $3 pp). He also cut the cost of the raw bar.

Chair covers are the easiest to get thrown in. Maybe you can ask for a chocolate fountain, extra food, an extra station during CH, wine on the tables, top shelf liquer, an extra hour, mini vienesse trays (or if your lucky vienesse hour)

These were all included with our RH...I would talk to your hall about this and see if they can NOT include that in your 'for free' stuff

We got ,,, Seat covers, an extra ice sculpture, 25pp off the fee, a place of cookies,pastries and fruit on each table with des., choc. fountain.....
