I personally have never been there, however I have always heard wonderful things about it! Like the food being amazing, its beautiful, and the service wonderful. I also heard it is very expensive though.

We stayed there after my friends wedding. I thought it was very expensvie and nothing special.

We stayed there the night we got married. I didnt see the big deal with it at all! It was soo expensive! We had the suite but it didnt even have a bathtub which I thought was way cheesy! Everything was soo overpriced and just for a simple breakfast they charged us like 50 bucks!

I will admit though, we didnt take the time to really venture the grounds or anything else the hotel had to offer...in all honesty, it was a very surreal experience for me since I had just gotten married but I can say, I have stayed at other hotels for more than half the price and had a much, much better time and experience.

We had a corporate event there once (but many years ago) and it was fine.

Paid a fortune for our wedding night...!!
I didn't see what the big deal was.
I should have saved the money and stayed someplace cheaper.

here is why we like it:
We got our tuxes through the store Boneventure in Garden City.
Because we got our tuxes there we got our wedding night at the Garden City Hotel 1/2 price!! Well worth it!! Plus, the tux shop will come and pick up the groom's tux at the hotel for him!

I have a friend who works there, he's the lighting guy for Posh - he said that when he gets married he is DEFINITELY doing it there. The food is fantastic, and the service is top notch, according to him. It's very expensive though.
