i can't decide if FH should wear ivory and groomsman colored tie (wearing mocha vests and ties) or have FH wear a color and groomsman wear ivory...

I'm making FH match me. i think the groom should match the bride not the BM's or GM's. you match your date.
My FH is wearing white.. but there's silver in it too.
But you can do it either way. If you have color in your dress then you can have the groom match the color in your dress. but if you are all white then i think he should be white too... so you match one another.

DH husband wore white steffanodis. He was originally going to wear a white rose that had a pink rim on the top, but when the flowers came in those roses were really big which looked gorgeous in the centerpieces, but it would have looked funny as a bouttinere.

FH wore a white stephonitis with rhinestones in it to match my bouquet (i loved it!) and then the guys wore merlot red colored roses to go with one of our wedding colors (Wedding colors were fern/olive green, merlot red, and cream- the girls wore fern/olive green dresses). Everything looked so beautiful together! Good luck!

Fh's wearing an ivory bout. My bo-k is also ivory. Guys have hot pink bouts to match the girls bo-k's.

For tuxes I was told by the Tuxedo place ..FH matches bride and the groomsmen match the girls. So FH is in ivory vest and tie and gm's are in champagne striped ties and a champagne vest.

MY bo-k is fall flowers so FH is wearing the most prominent color in my Bo-k which is the red, and the gm's are wearing a circus rose... the more prominent flower in the girls bo-k's
Think that covers all angles lol

flowers - groom will be wearing a bordeaux cala lilly (which are in my fall-colored bo-k) groomsmen will be wearing circus roses.
As for vest, groom is wearing ivory vest with an ivory on white patterned tie and groomsmen are wearing black vests with a brown on black patterned tie. The girls are wearing brown dresses.

My DH (ah!) wore a green cymbidium orchid to match my bo-k, no one wore white flowers--but his tie and vest were white even tho my dress was ivory!

FH will be wearing an ivory shirt, vest, and tie, with a black magic (burgundy) rose. It might have a sprig of holly with berries too. My bouquet is mainly black magic roses with a few ivory, so he'll match me. The GM will have ivory roses, which will match the BMs bouquets of mainly ivory roses with a few black magic. Their shirts are ivory, vests are black, and ties are burgundy, to match the BM's burgundy dresses. So everyone is different, but coordinates amongst burgundy, ivory, and black. Unfortunately I couldn't work gold in there.

My DH had both - he had white stefanotis w/ orange fresia. I answered colored but I really like mixing both the colored w/ the white.
My Fh will match my flowers, He will have an eggplant calla lilly, which I will have in my bouquet as well as black magic roses. The gm will have a lavendar rose with snipets of purple statice, which will be in the BMs bouquets.

My BMs flowers are hot pink roses so the guys will be wearing white roses with the hot pink tips. I think FH will have a white orchid.
