if i dont want a french manicure (still not sure) but my colors are deep reds and rusts etc etc.... but yet dont want red nails..what are my options??? pinks wont work...and nudes... kinda make me look jaundiced...
any ideas??? french isnt really me... yet i think red nails might be tooooo distracting in pics. ty!!

I had a red bouquet and the bm's dresses were red. I am pretty pale, but I still think french manicures look best - they are clean and don't take away from anything.....I really think it's your best bet. You don't want to risk picking a red that clashes with our colors.

sometimes i see french tips with clear on the nail bed..sometimes a white nail bed ..sometimes a pinkish nail bed... any thoughts what looks better in regards to wedding and on a white girl?? lol

I get 'ballet slippers' as a base with white tips....that way it gives a little bit of a pink color, but not enough so it looks pink...it just adds a little something to the regular look of the french manicure. hope that helps?

sr.... i ws thinking that...but pinkish is really not at all in the color scheme and i am not a pinkish girl..unless its crazy mod pink...but i did have that idea at first. thanks for the suggestion though

Essie makes a color called 'adorable.' It is really sheer and it looks like you have a french manciure because the whites of your nails show through. It is not pink at all, but more of a beige/neutral color.

I used a creamy/ivory color that had a frost to it. I had used it before and it was all I used in the month before the wedding anyway.
