My BMs are going to be wearing light blue dresses. The shoes that can be dyed to match are priced pretty high. I was looking at other shoes. Would silver or white look too weird with blue? I need some advice!

I think shoes that are dyed to match will look best. I definitely wouldn't do white, maybe silver. You can totally find deals on dyeable shoes. Have you tried www.myglassslipper.com?

where did you look for shoes that get dyed and think it was to pricey?
I have had shoed dyed in the pass and it is free when you purchase the shoe.
Three places I will recommend are:
Craft Shoes in Commack on Jericho Tpke
Payless shoe stores - ask at the cashier, there is a book to look through for the dyable shoes
Love my Shoes in Huntington on Rt 110, just across from the mall

Silver! I wore light blue for 2 weddings I was in so far. One we wore dyable shoes (and I hated it - everyone's blues were different and I felt like I had smurf feet - bride wanted closed toe so the shoes seemed sooo blue). In the second wedding we wore strappy silver shoes and it looked very nice.
I think my BMs want to get those clear shoes with some rhinestones on them or something. That might work.

I think clear will look great. I wore clear for my sisters wedding in March. The dresses were light blue too you really didn't see the shoes at all.

i say go for dyable if you can find them for a good price.
There is a little teeny tiny bridal shoe store on old country road east of roosevelt field mall (across from avis rental car...although that may not be there anymore!) i got MY shoes there (they are ballet shoes and they were only $40) the rest of the shoes were pretty resonable as well...
i cant remember what it is called, but my mom would know, i can ask her if you want! FM me if you want the info
