Yup you would have to get them dyed diamond white- this is pretty common actually. I bought my shoes at Sandy's Shoes but I'm going to bring them back when it gets closer to the wedding and get them dyed.

I had two pairs, one I kept white and they were completely fine adn the other pair was clear/silver so it didn't matter.
ETA: can sort of see in this pic when I changed into my white shoes...
I think you can wear whatever color you want... I've seen brides with red shoes, cheeta print, etc. Can't see them because the dress is so long so I think anything goes.

mine were white- you can't tell AT ALL- you can have them dyed, but the difference in color is so minimal, the naked eye could not even see it -atleast not with the ones I chose The ivory is TOO yellowish for the dress-silver could work if that's what you want

If you want exact matches, you would have to die them or else they will look dingy if they are true white. Ivory is off too. I would get pretty silver or subtle gold/champagne shoes. It would depend on your jewelry color I think. if your ring is white gold or platinum, stick to silver.
I am wearing a light ivory dress but my shoes are read! if you want to be cute and add a fun touch, how about making your 'something blue' blue shoes?

silver or gold will prolly look fine. White shoes may or may not look okay- you'll have to try them with it. It may be too much white- then again- your dress will prolly cover your shoes so it doesn't matter!

I would def. go with white over Ivory-- or white silk because since it is a natural fiber it can't be 'pure' bright white.

i'm over trying to match my dress to anything.. its diamond white or off white - i dont know anymore!!

My dress is a very light ivory and the shoes I bought are white. You can't even see my shoes, and when I tried them on together the bridal salon lady said I don't even need to get them dyed. There are so many different shades of white, it's crazy.
