What color was your dress for your engagement party?

I bought a dress for my engagement party and then a few people told me that they wore white.

Did you wear white or another color? I'd love to see pics to see if I'm just totally off base with mine!

Also, what colors did your FHs wear?

i wore champagne that had a black trim....fh wore a black shirt and a champagne tie

I am wearing white...not because I was specifically looking for a white dress, but I found a pretty white cotton Lily Pullitzer dress on sale that I just couldn't pass up! FH will be wearing linen pants with a white linen buttondown shirt...we are having a backyard bbq e-party in June.
