What cruiselines would you reccommend for honeymoon?

I've been on Norwegian Cruise Line twice and I loved it both times. I like the flexibility of the dining options, and the extra restaurants are great for very little money (not that you would even need to go to one, but it's nice for some variety, like steak, Mexican, French, etc).

i've only been on NCL and i loved it cause there wasn't a set schedule. you were able to do what you want, when you want.

just don't leave from NY, that was the worth decision on my part. you spend way too much time at sea and not enough time on the islands!

We were looking at something from NY but then we also saw alot of iffy reviews on NCL which made me a bit nervous. People said the sea days leaving from NY were boring after a while because there wasn't much to do. IDK how true that was so I figured I get better answers on LIW

that's exactly right. i took a NCL cruise leaving from manhattan. it was a 7 day cruise, where i basically spent 4 days at sea and the other 3 days were spent at the island.. but remember, you only stay on the island for like 6 hours and then you go back to the boat to sleep... it wasn't that great...

i think it's worth flying to florida and leaving from there, you'll get more time on each island and less time just 'at sea'...

Eh, it is what you make it! We go on NCL cruises leaving from NY every year and we have a BLAST on the boat! I mean more than 3 days, I think I'd start getting bored, but there are tons of bars, activities, pools, jacuzzis, casinos, restaurants, arcades, etc. The newer ships even have water slides and bowling alleys!
If you're looking into one leaving out of NY- I'd say try for the Bermuda 3-day one. You're in one port for 3 days so you have optimal amount of time to explore the island. We're leaving on NCL out of NY two days after our wedding!
