We went to a cafe, it was a Sunday night around 8:00 pm...in the winter...I wore jeans with heals and a black top...he had jeans and a tan sweater on...he looked adorable (as always)...we were just friends at that point...

we went to the movies and saw Dazed and confused. The movie sucked. I left more dazed and confused then when I walked in. We actually were bowling partners for a few months prior to going on a date

Our first date I think was Chuck E Cheese because he came to my moms house and picked me and my daughter who was 4 at the time and took us there...I knew he was a keeper when he was smiling at her and running around with both of us

My husband and I also met online. For our first date, we met at a prearranged spot in Penn Station. We then walked to a restaurant in Murray Hill called Villa Berulia. After dinner we had a couple drinks at a bar called Under the Volcano. Then he walked me back to Penn Station so I could get my train back to Queens.
I wore black capri pants with a red and white floral design on the lower part of the legs with a white wrap blouse, black shoes, red purse and a denim jacket. Even though it was late May it was pretty cool out.

Well, I used to have the security codes to the main stage at the Staller Center, so on our first date, we went very late at night to the main stage at the Staller Center and I played my flute for him while he sat in the audience, then we went and checked out all the lights and controls and played in the whole thing. Then we went back to my studio and hung out. I remember exactly what I was wearing.

Well, we were friends for many years before we started dating, but for our first 'official date' we went to The Supper Club in NYC for dinner & dancing. It was an amazing night!
He wore a pinstriped suit, and for the first time in my life, I CANNOT remember what I wore!!!

Our first date we went to the drive in in Westbury and saw Diehard 2 I think?? Now, now, don't get the wrong idea. It was the drive in but I wasn't interested at all in the movie, I was more of a spectator to the guy/girl in the next car who kept disappearing under the doorline Then we went to a Diner and cruised around for awhile. Once he got me talking, he must have thought I was nuts because I was putting it all out there and he didn't say a word. Yet, there was a note on my car the next morning, telling me he drove around after he dropped me off and couldn't stop thinking about me....
Oh yeah, being it was the 90's, I wore BIG hair, a black bodysuit, white boots, and a white lacey type off the shoulder thing w/the pirate sleeves that was so popular back then. I thought I was the bomb!

We met online initially and met up at Uncle Jack's for drinks on August 8, 2002. At that point I didn't know how I felt about him or if I'd see him again and I felt bad if he shelled out about $150. on dinner, so I suggested Uno's down the block. We had dinner and a few drinks and then we kissed in front of Uno's.

He came over my house with a pint of ben and jerry's vanilla bean for us to share. We never left my room...We looked at photo albums and talked...and I remember exactly what he wore down to the cologne, but it was 1994 and it might embarass him if I write it! LOL

Okay I remember like if it was yesterday. It was valentines day 1997. He took me to this great Italian restaurant called la primavera in the theater district. I wore a red turtleneck and tight pants. I was so floored because I had never been to an expensive restaurant. We then went to see The Relic in the movie theater that is in the virgin mega store. After that he took the train all the way to queens with me and took me to my aunts house on a cab which btw he totally got robbed because they overcharged him. I was really impressed that he did that, mind you I was 19.

I love telling this story so I suspect this will be very long. It was a blind date since we met on Match.com. We met at bar near his apartment in Santa Monica( I never let strange guys even know what town I lived in!lol) and watched the Giant game. I wore a black tank top and cargo capris in light green. It was the best first date I ever had. We had some bloody mary's, watched sports, had some food( I had a patty melt and ate everything on my plate- my FH was very impressed by this). I told him we were getting along really well but that one test remained. He kissed me on the way back from the bathroom and said, now there are no tests left! We ended up going back to his place, had our first 'real'kiss and made out for three hours. I was so excited about our date when I ran into a friend on the street when he was walking me to my car- I introduced him as my future husband. He wasn't even phased by it.
He called me to make sure I got home ok, and then at 7 in the morning to tell me I made him miss his plane for his upcoming business trip. I knew we a couple then...

Julz- you just brought back many memories of parties at the Clearview golf course!
All these posts remind me of home- Uno's where I used to work, Pancho's, my favorite Tex-Mex place, etc. Thanks for the ride down memory lane!

DH and I worked as managers together @ McDonalds. I slowly started making friends and we all started hanging out Saturday nights. Anyway, one Sat. night a group of us went to the movies to see 'French Kiss.' I went to put my soda down, and when I reached back up, he held my hand. When everyone left the house that night..May 16, 1995 He asked me out and here we are today together almost 10 years! My grandmother always said 'You are going to marry Greg or Glenn, not these arse holes you keep bringing home..LMAO..Well, I married Greg and Glenn is marrying my cousin this July thanks to gram who said, 'Why dont you hook Glenn up with (my cousin) and we all kinda were like 'ok gram'..They started dating 5 months later..LOL..Grandma knows best in relationships. We tease everyone and ask if they passed the 'Grandma test'. My FSIL passed with flying colors..Gram LOVES her!

His Senior Prom!!!!
I did an accelerated high school program that put me in classes where all my classmates were a year older than me, therefore, all of my friends were seniors and I was a junior.
FH and I were friendly, and he didn't have a date yet (actually, he'd NEVER had a date - no GFs EVER!), so he asked if I would go with him. I said yes, and i had the TIME OF MY LIFE! Soooo much fun, I laughed so hard I cried that night. It was at the Vanderbilt (the former club, not the Vanderbilt mansion) - the food was horrible, the music was too loud, some girl's boob fell out of her dress and immediately became the buzz of the prom, but I had the best time. He kissed me during our first ever dance together (Savage Garden's 'I knew I loved you'), and the best part is, I have about 100 pictures to commemorate our first date. I look at them all the time - never knew things would turn out like this

We dated long distance so our first real date was the first time I saw him after we met a month prior. he picked me up at the airport with flowers and we went to a bar called Club Lo. We sat on the red velvet couches, drank cosmos and talked all night.
