Applebee's on V-day 2002.....I was with a couple who were fighting over their ruined V-day and his guy friend wanted to cheer him up because that was his grandmothers' funeral.

I was wearing jeans and a purple turtleneck sweater with a dark purple strip across the chest. He was wearing a grey Adidas hooded sweatshirt. I shared a burger and fries with my girlfriend and he was drinking Margaritas to drown his sorrows. He drew me a V-day card on a tiny piece of paper in yellow crayon....

I still have it, the sweater, and he still wears that sweatshirt.

went to the movies and then talked for hours in his truck afterwards. I don't remember what I wore, but probably nothing special because it was last minute (I was meeting him at the movies after I got out of work- my co-worker and I actually ended up being held up at work that night and I was late meeting him!)
He was wearing a collared shirt and jeans.

Our first 'date' was on a Wednesday 1/9/02. The weekend before we had a very drunken meeting at the Culture Club ( love that Cabbage Patch Drink)!
He picked me up around 9pm and we just went to a diner that we call Chompers because we realized the hostess had very little teeth

We were still seniors in HS (went to different HS and had met on and off through mutual friends for about a year). I remember exactly what happened and what I wore when I asked him out. We were at a punk/hardcore show at the PWAC and I had on my ever so cool oversized jeans and a white t-shirt with 3 silver stars on it. He had on his cool oversized jeans and a light blue Snapcase shirt. He was so nervous after I asked him out he went to 'mosh'. Hehehe.

Our first official date was to see Brain Candy at Lowes Roosevelt Field. Between asking him out and actually going on a date we hung out with friends at a friend's house. He walked me out to my car at the end of the night and gave me the absolute best kiss ever. We had our second kiss in the parking lot of the movie theater!
