Just wondering what most people spent on their gowns including alterations and veil?

my dress was 800 originally, but was on sale for 650, the only alteration i need is the bustle and this was quoted at 85. my real splurge was the tiara in reality at 250. so total i will have spent just over 1000 on my entire outfit for the day, but that includes EVERYTHING i'll be wearing (except jewelry)!
I definitely had Bridal Brain when I bought my dress. Over $3K and the alterations are coming out around $600. FI is cool about it, he said I should spoil myself, but I feel like I should have shopped around a little more.

My dress was under $1000 before alterations....My MOH was shocked that it didn't cost more...I love it!
My head piece was $225...and I kicked myself for finding it on a website for much cheaper after I bought it..Oh well

When all is said and done (shoes, veil, dress, alt, undergarments, etc) I'd say about $2000!

A little over $900 for the dress. Veil is free from a friend who never used it including a pearl and crystal comb. Alterations will be done by a friend's aunt so maybe $100.

my dress cost 8,000 it yolanda couture dress. i dont know much the veil cost. i just bought my dress last week. i have to go veil shopping.

Mine was $2700, veil was $300...I made myself believe that I got a bargain because my original budget for my gown was $4K....Riiiiiiight....a 'bargain'

i was VERY lucky-- i told myself that i would try on without looking at prices and whatever it was, i would make it work if i really loved the gown...
when i fell in love with a certain gown i was afraid to look at the price but when i did i was shocked to find that it was only around $1600 retail!! i was able to then get it from Burton's for only $1000 total after tax and alterations!!

Gown was $4,000.00 (included alterations) plus tax
Veil: $540.00 plus tax Go to Baron's in Tri -County!!!!
