So what do you do when someone sends you an RSVP that their not going to the wedding, but sends you money?? Do I send a thank you now???? Or do I wait until after the wedding??

I sent a thank youright away, and then sent a nice pic one after the wedding, too/

Agreed. Send a thank you right away. This way you don't forget to and so they know you received the gift. Maybe say something like 'Thank you so much for your generous gift. It is very much appreciated. We're sorry you cannot celebrate with us but we hope to see you soon.'

Send a generic thank you now for the gift and if you want to send one of your professional ones when you receive them

I agree. Send a thank you note now and then send them a picture one after the wedding.
