We went to sit down with our priest a few weeks ago and I wanted to book the Rehersal but he told me it was too far in advance. Now, my FMIL and I(because I am anal and I like things done ahead of time)..want to book the RD...
What do I do?
What do I tell the priest? I want to call him now...

From what your date is I don't think that's far in advance
Maybe you can try to explain that you're trying to get your RD booked and you have to do it soon so you need to know when this rehersal will be.

yea, I'd try to talk to him again, our priest booked our rehearsal the day we booked with the church, which was back in June for our Oct 09 wedding!

Yeah that is only 2 months away!!
At my church, when you call to book a rehearsal, you speak with an administrative woman. Maybe she'll let you book...the priest might not be involved in that at all...

With my church I book the rehersal 4 or 6 weeks before my wedding date.
