If our wedding is April 24th I plan on sending the invites the week of Feb 3rd the week of Feb 10th. What should the RSVP date be???? Please help me I really have no clue. Would March 14th be enough time?

I'm putting one month to the day before our wedding for the RSVP date. That should be enough time to call all of the slackers that didn't RSVP and still give your final headcount to your hall.

I agree with everyone that the RSVP should be one month before your wedding.

We did 1 month...and 1 week. Wedding is April 17....reponse date is March 10. I wanted the extra week for the slackers!

Just a little tip I was given. When sending out your initations mark each one on the back with a number. Then on a separate piece of paper have list of people with the assigned number. So that way if you get back a response with no name(which happens alot) you can correspond the numbers to the person.

We had our response date as amonth and two weeks before the wedding. We mailed them out early because of the holidays and I figured I would put the response early because I knew I would not get them all back in enough time. I think March 14th is good if you are sending them out the week of February third. You are giving people over a month to respond.
