we have pretty much the same thing booked...hall, church, photo, video, dj...i have a florist appointment on monday...the woman i spoke to at the florist said she thought it was early for me to come in but if i wanted to get it done that was fine...i want to have my dress ordered by late october...i feel there's still time...i want to see some new stuff due out late august...

definitley your dress, no doubt! it can take 8-10 months to come in depending on what brand you get, while invitations take about 2 weeks to come in. i would even do limos, flowers, honeymoon before invitations.
