Re: what do we all do for a living???

thanks Kim!!!
I love what I do-and I actually discovered it by accident! I use music as a therapuetic modality--so basically I work on my clients therapuetic needs through music. Like for example, if I have a client who has difficulty with gross motor tasks, I would use drums, cymbals and other percussion instruments to increase his gross motor movement. If I have a client who has difficulty relating with his peers I base a musical activity around working with others. I've also worked with dementia and stroke patients and we often use songs from their past (i.e. their wedding songs) and try to draw out their memories by triggering them through song. I could go on and on, but that's pretty much it.
