I actually call them by their names...well I call his mom Damaris and his dad cheppe..thats what everyone calls him.

but last sun...Damaris was harping on me wearing a coat and a scarf and a hat and I said, 'OMG Mom!, stop!' lol

she still made me wear the scarf. lol

a while ago FMIL said that she didn't like that her DIL talked at her and has never called her by her name or mom or even Mrs. so and so. made me start wondering if i did that and i think i did!! now i call her by her name unless i email her then i call her mom because i send it from FH and I

I am one of those who doesn't call them anything.
but then again, neither does FH. well actually, he will call my dad by his name if he has to, but not my mom.

i call them mr. and mrs. _____. i feel weird calling them mom/dad. I wanted to call them momma and poppa k but i just felt weird. maybe when we do actually get married, i'll call them mom/dad

FFIL lives in the Dom. Rep. so i hardly see him. But the mom, omg i think i dont call her anything..(anyone watch LOST, how Jacob's brother has no name and no one calls him anything...lol) hahahahahaaha Her name is Ana, but now that i think about it, i dont think i use it..

FH calls my parents by their first name.

I call them by their first names. I knew FFIL because he bowls at the bowling alley I work at so I've called him John since way before FH and I ever started dating.

i am NOT calling them mom/dad or anything like that...
when ever I start using something it will be their first name.

i call them mom and dad
when my FH and I got engaged they gave me this whole speech about how i am now their daughter and that they want me to call them mom and dad. It was really sweet.

I am in the same boat as you. i dont think FH calls my parents anythign either... if he is talking to me he will say - your mom and your dad... not their names or Mom and Dad

Mr and Mrs _____ most of the time on a rare occasion I will call them by their first names. I think it actually bothers my FMIL that I don't call her by her first name but all well that's how I was raised.

I call FFIL Mr. ___ or just nothing at all

I honestly don't think I will ever call them mom & dad.. I just love my parents so much and I think I want to reserve those special titles for them.. Idk if that's weird or wrong....

mom and dad.... if Im talking to my parents about them I call them Mom and dad ---FH last name---. They are my 2nd family. Plus my parents call each others mom, mom.
