what do you call your FFIL and FMIL?

Do you call them Mom/Dad, Mr/Mrs Smith, or by their first names after you are married?

fh's mom passed away, but i call his dad by his first name

Everyone calls FFIL Papi or Pa.. And that just doesn't swing right with me so hes Ray to me.

FMIL 's name is Marta (MAAAA-TAAA like all his Cuban family calls her lol) I call her Martha like all of the rest of the outsiders do lmao

And thats how its staying after I'm married as well

FH's Dad passed away and I don't really call his mom by any specific name. I try to avoid it but when I have to I will say her first name. I will never call her Mom...1) because she is not my Mom and 2) my mom passed away and I could never call someone else mom.

FH calls all of my family members by their first names.

We are in the same boat! I do the same thing...'hi its Diana!' Im just going to ask FMIL one of these days what I should call them after we are married- Im hoping they are fine with me calling them by their first names!

I kinda call them nothing now...I do sign cards mom and dad, but those are from both of us.
His dad calls me 'sister' for some reason.....maybe that is a clue to call him brother ??

I say Mr for FH's dad and I call his wife by her first name. Its very awkward.

I have a hard time with this. My mom passed away almost 10 years ago, and although I get along with FMIL really well and truly adore her, I feel weird calling her mom. She leaves me messages saying mom. I try not to call either of them anything but I am sure the time will come where I cant just say hey!!!
