What do you do...

to keep busy?

Extra-curricular activities?
Volunteer work?
Clubs?
Sports/teams you actually play(on)?

Not just 'hobbies' or 'interests (like reading, scrapbooks, shopping, etc...)

And no one say: 'I HAVE NO TIME FOR ANYTHING BUT SLEEPING, EATING AND WORKING!'

I'd actually love to do something , I'm just not sure what. I would love maybe a sewing class or a knitting class.

I don't have much free time. After work I try to go to the gym, then I go home, eat with DH, then do homework, and usually take a break to watch some TV. I go to school full time while working full time, so I have a lot of homework once I get home. DH plays on a baseball team, so I watch him on the weekends, and like hanging out with my family and friends and shopping...Lately I've been finally decorating our place more, and reading for fun, which I hadn't gotten a chance to do lately. That's about it. I went in spurts when I knit/crocheted, and baked...

Me too! I've been trying to figure this out for a while. I may take a Pilates class at Forest Hills HS in their adult education thing but it's still not what I'm looking for.

Honestly, I don't do anything to
keep buys' work, , commuting, family & social obligations & household chores keep me plenty busy.

I am starting a Yoga class through the local adult ed program in a few weeks. I have to leave work at 5 to make it, but I need to do something physical & hopefully relaxing.


ETA-- I also don't think something needs to be an organized axctivity to be an actvivity. I crochet on my own & DH & I hike when we can & I am trying to find time to re-learn to drive.

I don't know if this counts, but I'm obsessed with vacations. So I spend a lot of my free time looking into different trips I would like to take. It's kind of lame, but I enjoy it- even though it can be torture sometimes.

I do home improvement projects mostly. Right now I'm working on sealing and painting our garage walls & floor. I know - not terribly exciting but it will look good when it is done. I installed two bathroom ventilation fans last year that I'm really happy about.

Apart from that, I like to cook all our dinners during the week so that takes up some time. I grew some lovely tomatos this summer.

Oh yeah, I'm on the board of a non-profit which is great but luckily doesn't take up a ton of time. Just a conference call every other month and meetings a couple of times a year.

OMG let's!!! That would be so fun! I'll get the info when I get home tonight, I have the thing they send out there.

my free time is devoted to my dog...we go to the dog park almost evey day-on the weekends we go to the beach...
we shop at petsmart
I take him on errands (thank god for the drive thru cvs, and dairy barn)
and we go to his training class.....
he's the man in my life, so he gets all the love!

me too - for instance, tonight my puppy starts his first obedience classes....when I am not entertaining him I am cleaning up his accidents all over the place

I take aerobics classes at the gym.
I also like reading, but that is usually before bed.
Graphic design is one of my hobbies, but I don't have that many occasions to do it. I wish I could do freelance work, though.

Photography. DH and I want to start a 'side' photography business next year.

We also belong to a couple of hiking clubs, although we don't get out as much as we would like.

Yup! And after we can get ices or ice cream Just to make sure we didn't actually do any good for our bodies
