So we went out Sat night becuase a friend was having a boat ride/cruise. We were with a few people and since i was not feeling well I sat most of the night with DH taking care of me. Well he likes music and since I was away from the DJ I told him to go closer so he could listen..he did this periodically. Well this little 'hoochie..u had to see the dress.....must have missed the wedding band on his finger and had the nerve to whisper to his brother'where did your cute friend go...so my wonderful BIL loudly said..ohhhhhh you mean her HUSBAND..he went to get his WIFE a drink. She knew he was with me..A. she saw us holding hands and kissing in front her face. B. He ignored her when she tried to dance with him... So she gave me dirty looks until I loudly said...Honey stop kissing me..people may be getting jealous.
He can handle himself but I know some women who would have pushed her overboard. What do you do when the other half gets hit on?

About a month before DH and I got engaged he was doing a show. One of the girls on the crew developed quite a crush on him. Now, DH sometimes is really clueless when it comes to girls and their ways ( I refuse to call her a woman because a woman does not go after another woman's man). Well, I stumbled upon a letter from this girl to my DH talking about how much she liked him and that 'if he were just not with me she would love to be with him.' Needless to say I stepped in and requested that DH cut all ties with this girl. He did. The funny thing is that I occasionally see this girl at auditions. I still give her the evil eye after 2 yrs. DH thinks that I am crazy, but she obviously had no respect for me, my DH and our relationship or even herself. I refuse to sink so low as to say anything to her, but I don't have to like her.

It's a rough situation; it's flattering when another woman finds you FH/DH attractive, but it's very aggrivating when they take it too far. It's great that your DH ignored her though! Honestly, if it were ME and the girl had kept coming on to him, I would've pummeled her, lol. That's just me though.

I would have laughed. This has happened o occassion and i get a kick out of it....Why get upset..you trust your husband right?...in all honesty i usually feel bad for girls that have to dress like that...
Same here! I kinda get a kick out of it b/c FH squirms! He's so shy about things like that. But if someone keeps doing it and knows that he's 'taken' then that's completely disrespectful. FH worked with some girl and she kept hitting on him even after she knew that he had a GF and kept doing it even after I met her numerous time (and she tried to act nice to me!). We worked for the same agency so that was how I met her. What a biatch! But what was I gonna do since we had only been going out for less than a year!

I deal with it all the time. As my DH, David is a musician and front man for a busy cover band .Gravy , it's his job to get out in the crowd and dance with the girls and get everyone to stay and drink and listen to the band.
If I'm there, he always comes right to me at the set breaks and we hang out, kiss, and talk with the rest of the band. If I'm not there, he fends them off, and always says thanks, but I'm married. Last week he was proposed to twice!
I never worry about him.

I once had a problem with a shot girl at a bar. I was standing right next to my DH and this girl grabs his hand and twirls herself right into his arms to start whispering to him. Well my 'animal instincts' came out and I pushed the girl away from my DH and she says to me...what's your problem? I couldn't believe it!! I know that they have to act the part to make their money but I've never seen that before. Anyway, I told her to whore around somewhere else and when she stood there looking at me with this 'I can't believe you said that look', I took a step towards her...like I was going to hit her. Anyway, after telling her to get the F out of here, she walked away. Then I proceeded to get angry with my DH for not pushing her off in the first place. That was when we first got married. I'm not that confrontational anymore...but to remember that story gives me a good laugh!!

I usually think it's cute when a woman flirts with him...but that's only when they DON'T KNOW THAT HE'S TAKEN.
If they persist, and they are aware that my DH is married...then I'm mad, and would probably confront the woman..luckily, this hasn't happened yet.

You guys are too funny. My FI is a really cute former football player so he is constantly getting rammled by women. Plus, he goes to all these industry events where folks know he is in finance-and that attracts a whole weird subset of women. I am like Kathy, I kind of think it is funny. I find it especially charming because he is SO oblivious to it -- he is really genuine and after some massive slutster will spend hours shoving her boobs in his face he will come back and say 'Oh, that was Sue...she has a cat' or something. As far as the rest, I trust him completely so I tend not to get to in your face. After all, like June27 said, I get to go home with him.

I honestly don't know if I would have been able to handle it as well as you did. That was a nice sting you gave her with that 'jealous' comment.... don't know if I'd be that graceful....
One time me and FH were at a bar and while I was in the bathroom his ex-girl (sneaky rat b!tch) came up to him and started telling him that when I came back she was going to tell me that he kissed her and that he called her for her birthday, etc etc .... a pack of lies so that I would get mad at him...FH told her to go ahead 'she will whip your a$$'!
Needless to say, when I returned she was cowering inside her circle of friends miles away on the other side of the bar. I was eyeballing her the rest of the night, just waiting for her look my way... of course she NEVER made eye contact with me and spent the rest of the night clinging to her friends...oh I was so ready to have a nice little uh, 'chat' with her!!
