What do you do if your dress comes in early?

What do you do if your dress comes in early?

My dress is suppose to be coming in next summer. What happens if it comes in earlier than expected? Does the bridal salon just hold on to it?

Some do some don't. I would definitely call and ask their policy

I agree. Luckily my bridal salon is holding my gown free of charge. My gown came in June and my wedding is not till September.

My salon holds it, which makes sense because they like to do the fittings closer to the wedding date

My store holds it as well and my dress came in right around a year ahead of the wedding.

I know DB makes you take the dress home and then bring it back when you begin fittings

I would think that they would hold it? but I don't really know. I would definitely call to ask!

When my original dress came in, it came in ridiculiously early! I ended up buying one of those 'closet's on wheels' from BBB. It actually came in really handy, now I put alot of my wedding stuff in there to store. It came with cedar in it to protect the dress from moth balls, or anything else. Good luck!

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections. I actually told them whether it's ok if I pick my dress up like 3 days before my wedding. They said that was fine. I'm sure they would store it, but, what I'm nervous about is that the dress could get messed up some how. I'm sure my concerns are unwarranted especially since they have probably stored dresses a billion times already.

I guess I'm afraid that something will happen to the dress.
