What do you do that is weird?

I dont know why, but I count the steps I take on stairs LOL (to myself not out loud) When I go up or down the stairs to the train i count them. I think its because I am concentrating and I have a fear of falling down them in front of people!

I don't use condiments. FH thinks it's the weiredest thing. I may put ketchup on the side of my plate for fries, but that's it. Everything else grosses me out, but it grosses out FH that I eat everything so dry.

My nephews sing the song when they clean and after watching them one night I had it stuck in my head and that was it, it became the Peanut song.

in my case, the real question is..

'what do you do that is NORMAL?'

Most of mine are food related. I think we had a thread about this awhile ago, actually.

The two big ones that gross DH out are:
1) I eat my ice cream very mushy... to the point where you can practically drink it. He calls it my 'Ice Cream Soup'

2) I cannot eat food hot .. yes , we are talking about food that is SUPPOSED to be eaten hot. Before I touch it it has to be cooled off to room temperature or lower. THis goes for just about ANYTHING, but in particular things with melted cheese (that MUST be cooled off!)

And to save time, I will cook something and then put it in the fridge to cool down quickly in order to consume in timely fashion

My DH fills his ice cream bowl with milk like it's cereal!!!

I repeat things all the time. My DH calls me 'Stephie 2 times' like the GoodFella's movie.... I never know who I say what too so I repeat.

I also drive him nuts by saying FYI or ASAP or any other letters....

LOL--I sing to my dog too--I also have a song for him--his name is Bosco and he's a furball and the song goes like this:

Bosci ball, you're just the cutest little Bosci ball--bosci Ball--LOL --

He seems to love it b/c everytime I sing it to him he gets so cute and rolls over on his back so I can rub his belly--LOL

LOL! I used to do the same thing....I still catch myself doing it 2 years later.

My dogs name is Tortellini and for some reason I call him different names when I'm calling him like 'lean beans' or 'Lini' sounds like Im crazy b/c 'lean beans' sounds nothing like Tortellini, lol kind of embarrassing.

I have a fear of runny eye makeup, and ask DH all the time -

me-'Do I have raccoon eyes'

DH- no

Me-'are you sure, you did not even look'

DH no

Me- if I have them I am going to be so mad

DH- ughhhh

This goes on atleast 3 times a day, even home.

me too, hubby things Im nuts, I make up songs about him and sing them to him.

When I was in better shape, after work I used to 'race' people to the end of the block (I would focus on someoen about 20 feet ahead of me and try to 'beat' them to the corner). I think it helped me lose 10 lbs without dieting in 2000!

I do the same thing! And JT will answer me with, 'I'm your baby, yes I am,' if he hears me say it to the cats

Oh, and when I listen to music, I have to figure out how I would write the rhythm of the music down on paper. AND when I watch tv, I have to repeat the lines that the actors say in my head over and over. It's exhausting, hence why I don't watch much TV.

When it is nighttime and all the lights are off and I need to do something, I try to do it in the dark to see if I could manage if I was blind.
