What do you do to keep warm?

What do you do to keep warm?

on really cold nights like tonight, I get chilled to the bone and can never seem to warm up.

the only way I seem to warm up is in bed under my down comforter or....

so how do you keep warm when you're home?

layers and layers...I always ask FH why he is still attracted to me when I have two sweatshirts on, two pairs of sweatpants, mismatched socks...I literally 'waddle' , but I can't STAND to be cold!

I might have to start layering too! great idea!

I wear these ugly booties around the house, they're filled with down and make my feet look like they're a size 30. but I don't care! my feet are nice and toasty

I agree with the layering or a nice HOT bath, but that only lasts so long

I dance around the pole I have in my bedroom for about an hour much like Pam Anderson use to for Tommy Lee.

I think I need a vacation.

Re: What do you do to keep warm?

I have these fake fur-lined slippers that I wear around the apartment, and if I'm really cold I'll put on our 'sick shirt'. It's this big fluffy fleece that is too big on both FH or me to wear out (a gift from his Aunt I think). But whenever one of us is sick we wear it and it comforts us. So I guess it is the 'sick or cold' shirt.

ETA: FH has matching fleece pants that he can also wear, but they are way too big on me

I have one of those fleece pouch type things, you know with only space for head, arms and feet and the rest you could be 600 lbs and still fit in.

I look hysterical, but it keeps me warm

DH does a fire in the fireplace every nite...that keeps us pretty toasty--and we also raise the heat if need be.......

But it does get warm pretty quick.

Cuddle with DH. Nothing beats a live blanket.

When I sleep at night I pile the blankets. When he leaves in the morning. I put my heavy robe over me and fall really fast asleep
