My hair is so damaged and dry from over coloring but I am unwilling to give up coloring. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem? I also had my hair japanese straight permed so it can be dry from that as well.
I currently use Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner.

I was told that Herbal Essense brand can be very drying. Can you ask your hair dresser what to use? Infusium is supposed to be good, too.

Infusium pro pack conditioner, ANY kerastase conditioner, also try biosilk products by farouk.

Heat up a little olive oil and put it in your hair wrap it with a towel for like 30 min and then wash it as normal. Same thing as a hot oil treatment only cheaper.
I actually did the jap straighting 3 times and my hair is still as curly as could be. I was under the impression that once they do the process there was no need to blow dry it straight that it more or less would dry straight or straighter than normal but thats really not the case with me I need to dry and pull and iron and everythign else. Thats ok though I hear curly hair is comming back and pin straight hair is out.
