What do you do with your Engagement ring during the ceremony?

What do you do with your Engagement ring during the ceremony?

I have heard wear it on your right hand, give it to your MOH, but I dont know what the proper way is??

I want to wear it on my wedding day too, but I have to give it to someone to hold until after ceremony because it doesn't come close to fitting my right hand.

What I did?

A friend once told me that it is good luck to give your e ring to a single girl to wear during the ceremony and they will be next to be married. I had my sister in law wear it during the ceremony and 2 months later she got engaged. You never know there might be some truth to it.

I wanted to wear mine on my right hand untill after the reception, but it is tight also!
I have been thinking about this and now I don't know. Maybe I'll have my fiance hold it during the ceremony in his tux and i'll put it on after we are married and in the rolls royce?!
