What do you girls think about this.....

My FH wants to wear a white tuxedo because I am wearing white. His guys will be wearing black tuxedos with a plum vest to match the bridesmaids plum dresses. My question is can the groom wear white and the groomsmen wear black tuxes. How will that look in pictures?

I think it will look great!!! As long as your photographer is mindful about choosing a background, it will look beautiful. Many years ago, I wore a white dress for my prom, my date wore a white tux, it looked great. Choose a flower for the boutiniere that has a color from your bouquet. Good luck and have a beautiful wedding.

My cousin wore white tails at his wedding (about 16 years ago) He is very tall, slim and was quite tan. I remember him looking wonderful next to his beautiful bride.

That's what we're doing.....

My fiance will be wearing ivory (as will the ring bearer) and the groomsmen will be in black. It looks SHARP!!

What do you girls think about this.....

I think it used to always be that way (the groom in white, ushers in black). My dad had a white jacket and black pants (back in the early 60s). The pics are mostly black and white, but they look good!

It looks nice. You may even want to consider the groom and groomsmen wearing white jackets and black pants. A friend of mine did that for her wedding and it looks rich. So nice.
