What do you give for a e-party?

money? if so, how much? or something off registry?

I usually give a gift...the last one I gave a wine basket to with glasses, cheese stuff, coasters, wine stoppers, charms, bottles of wine, etc. If they are registered I'll get them a gift off of that. That's what my family does so I naturally do the same thing...they don't believe in giving money b/c it's 'thoughtless'; I don't agree with that at all, I personally think it's easier to give money and the couple will appreciate it more at this point in their life. But the type of family FH comes from gives money, so if it's his friends, he usually gives money b/w $100-150. HTH.

most gave something off the registry or something to accentuate a gift from the registry.

i had an aunt who got us our champagne flutes, she brought a lovely bottle of bubbly to the party as the flutes were being shipped to us.

some gave money.

picture frames were huge as well.

some saw this time to give more sentimental gifts as well.

We received mostly money for our e-party
It depends how close u are to the person
We got anywhere between 50-300 dollars

I received only money a a few people gave us a small gift along with it (mostly photo albums or picture frames) I always give money (usually $100) I feel that the registry is meant for the shower

go with money, deepends on how well you know them for 2 people nothing under 150, thats what I'd pay. If someeone close 300

My e-party is 10/21 and everyone is asking where I am registered so I guess I should register. No one in my family wants to give me $$ b/c they want something that I will remember.

Wow, that's really generous for an e-party. Most people gave us 50 or 100.

I guess you can give anything. For my e-party my side gave $$ and FI side gave gifts.
