What I Love About My RH...

the location on the water
the food was soooo good
i love the room i am getting
the staff is really nice
the boat arrival
the amazing views

The Watermill.........

I love that I can have the CH outside with an amazing scenery...
Our pictures will be taken outside in the gardens which are beutiful(as long as weather permits), but the inside is just as nice so pics can be taken there if need be....
I love the feeling I get when I am there....it is a cozy warm atmoshpere....
The food is excellent and people are very freindly...

So I guess I love everything about it.....
And I can't wait....

Bored at work, that's me!
I like that my place is simple and intimate. I'm having a small wedding and it feels cozy. Plus I love the neutral tones in the room, the view of the grounds, the patio where the cocktail hour is and I love that my pictures will be on the grounds, which are beautiful. Food is good and price is unbeatable!

I didnt go with an average hall..

My place also has history to it, i like that it is an old house. It is just great! different. It is the Gatsby in Islip! i love it there!

I liked the ambiance of the hall and I thought it would look lovely during the season. The room is gorgeous with the cathedral ceilings and skylights.

WESTBURY MANOR
I love that when you drive up you see beautiful land and peacocks walking around. When you open the big wood doors people inside greet you right away with a smile and a drink of your choice.

When you proceed to all of your rooms that they are beautiful and yours. The outside patio area and 4 acres of land with three bridges and water fountains.

The reception hall and the old world charm to it. An old mansion, classy and charming.

I LOVE THE DRESS IN THE SECOND PICTURE!!! Anyone know what it is?

I like that room in Fox Hollow...my wedding numbers were to high for the room and I wasnt crazy about the other room. you are going to have a beautiful wedding there.

I heard that in the last week they fird arthur who was the banquet manager that I spoke with and the head chef. Lots of changes being made over there! For the better is what I have heard.

Well check and see if it is defintely true. My brothers fiance is friends with him and I didnt ask her but I was told this yesterday.

Could be a rumor...but why would someone make that up. I really like him!

Westbury Manor......

I love that it is a Victorian Mansion and it has history dating back to the 1900's. I love that homey feeling and not the catering hall feeling. I love the grounds, the water fountains, the little streaming rivers and the gardens are amazing at all seasons of the year. I am a bird person so having peacocks roaming around and seeing perched parrots in the trees is amazing to me. The Manor room is georgeous. The package I got is amazing. I get to have my CH and Vienesse hour outside (weather permitting). I love the service, the people and the food. They have a beautiful restaruant where you can sample food. We got a gift cert to eat there and on our 1 year anniversary we have a comp meal. All the rooms are amazing. It lit at night etc etc etc. I love it!!!!

I know isnt it exciting? Are you going to use the outside cocktail hour? I am debating because I think that the inside is beautiful. before we changed our date we didnt have the outside as a choice but now I think it makes a hard decision. I think that the best part is that we dont have to decide until an hour before the cocktail hour begins. But atleast the guests can have cocktail hour outside but air conditioning inside if they need it. Are you going to the Bridal Showcase in a few weeks? I can wait to see it all set up again!

I went there yesterday to see the grounds and change our date and the peacocks were out. but the snow was still on the ground...but not cleared in the walkways...I thought that that was kind of odd. I mean I was able to walk on the patio area but not near the streams or bridges. maybe since there werent parties going on they felt as there were more important things to do (there were workers on the roof).

I love it there and FH finally got a chance to see it. It is definitely the place for us!

Its sooooo exciting. I am def having the CH and VH outside, I just hope it doesnt rain or hope its not too humid. If that is the case then I have it inside because yes the inside is also amazing. So either way I have it, it will still be beautiful inside or out. I cant wait to go the the bridal SC. They are going to have it set up sooo nice. And they are featuring their 3 fountains, carmel, coco and white coco and we get to sample the hor'dorves
